...and now for something completely different: VBCW

No idea why I never hopped on this game before, the models are fantastic, and the setting is marvelous.
Expect to see a lot more for this game in the next few months, as both Adam and I are getting stuck into it!

Back from holidays... first painted units of the year

Finally got around to take some pics of these first units I painted this year... actually, I painted quite a lot more but somehow forgot to get images...
Adam Carr's French Foreign Legion

This army is almost done, one more unit of mounted and dismounted cavalry, and a heap of trucks and transports.
The next project for Adam will be a truckload of British tanks and other vehicles!

Eureka Miniatures Napoleonic British

Oh dear... no posts since August...
Well, it's not that I haven't done anything since, I just seem to have forgotten to take images of most. I'll try to remedy that in the near future.
Lots of exciting new things going on (Bolt Action for example). These are the third and fourth unit that I painted for Adam, I'll try to get some images of the first two as well.

54mm Sir Keith Park (RAF)

More Finnish infantry images coming later this week, but for now I can only add the 2 models of Sir Keith Park that I finished this weekend. They are 54mm, and from Gary Hunt models. Boxes don't look like much, but the quality of the sculpts is fantastic. A bit like with el Viejo dragon miniatures, you can't really tell until you buy a model and paint it up. Top quality miniatures!

More Finnish tanks, Romanian Cavalry and a full MW Eastern Front Panzer Company1

Been a bit since the last images, but here's the update!
I've painted three platoons for Adam's Finnish army, finished off my Romanian artillery battery and also painted a full 1500pt Panzer company for mid war. I'm very happy about the way these turned out, they're based on the 11. Panzerdivision, and painted in the camouflage used in autumn 1941 on the Eastern Front.
Looking forward to using these guys, I played against this list on the Australian Grand Tournament this year, and I did get a serious beating from them (Thanks, Sean). This was also the list that won the GT.
The only thing that's missing is 1 HS129, which I will try to fix up as soon as possible.
